Service Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“customer”, “you”, “your”) and SoCo Can Cleaners (“SoCo Can Cleaners”, “company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) as an authorized user of such services provided by the company and any of its subsidiaries.

These Terms and Conditions, together with any operating rules, policies, price schedules, or other supplemental documents expressly incorporated herein by reference and published from time to time by SoCo Can Cleaners (collectively, the “Agreement”), constitutes the entire agreement between SoCo Can Cleaners and you regarding the can cleaning service. By using the service, you confirm your acceptance of, and agree to be bound by, this Agreement.

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement concerning your access to and use of the https://SoCoCanCleaners.com

website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”). You agree that by accessing the Site, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions.

1. SERVICE

SoCo Can Cleaners provides a mobile trash/waste can cleaning for residential trash cans. We provide residential power/surface washing service. Residential trash can cleaning service will be performed and billed on a subscription basis. Customer’s credit card will be charged prior to service being performed.

2. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

In order for SoCo Can Cleaners to provide its services, the customer must abide by the following conditions, or service could be interrupted or postponed.

Trash can(s) must be free of:

  • Un-bagged trash and animal waste. Cans containing unbagged feces will not be cleaned.

  • Chemicals, oils, any petroleum-based products, oil-based paint, glue or other adhesive, or a hazardous waste of any kind.

  • Un-bagged yard or organic matter, e.g., dirt, lawn clippings, or leaves.

  • Building materials, e.g., plaster, stucco, or concrete

  • There may be certain stains or markings that we cannot remove during the clean i.e. paint, physical scratches on the plastic; however, we will do our best to get your can as clean as possible.

  • Leftover items in your can: before the cleaning process begins, each can is checked for any remaining debris or damage. If there is any trash remaining in your can, after trash collection has been made, we will bag any remaining trash and place it back into your trash can after our cleaning process has completed. If we declare your can isn’t able to be cleaned due to damage etc., we will notify you via text/e-mail.

  • Trash can(s) must be empty and available by the curb or alley. SoCo Can Cleaners is not permitted to enter into any gated residences or garages to obtain or return trash cans for insurance reasons. Trash Can will be returned to front of house or gated area.

  • A vacation hold may be placed on service. The customer must notify SoCo Can Cleaners by phone or email 7 days before scheduled service. The service will be temporarily suspended for the time period up to 2 weeks as set by the customer, and the customer will not be charged until service resumes.

If any of the above conditions are not met, SoCo Can Cleaners will not perform the service(s) and the customer is still responsible for payment.

NOTE: SoCo Can Cleaners will not clean damaged cans i.e. holes, cracks, broken handles, etc. A note will be placed on the can(s) and a picture will be sent to the customer via email and/or text.

3. SOCO CAN CLEANERS RESPONSIBILITIES

SoCo Can Cleaners will schedule the customer’s service on a pre-planned route and notify the customer a week before, and the day before service via email and/or text message depending on their preference in the customer portal. SoCo Can Cleaners will attempt to service all cans on its pre-planned route. The customer will be invoiced according to the payment plan chosen at sign up, and their stored credit card will be automatically charged for the service.

If SoCo Can Cleaners is unable to provide its service(s) on the scheduled day due to inclement weather, vehicle maintenance, unforeseen events or otherwise, it will make every attempt to notify the customer in advance and reschedule the customer to the next available opportunity or provide a credit to customers account. Due to route scheduling conflicts and/or extended inclement weather, the service may be postponed until the following scheduled service date or may be rescheduled prior. We will cease normal operations if the high temperature for that day is near or below freezing or due to hazardous road conditions. The customer will be credited a service or rescheduled if the service cannot be performed due to inclement weather or vehicle maintenance.

4. CHARGES

The customer agrees to pay all charges for the service(s) and any applicable taxes. SoCo Can Cleaners reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time. Changes in pricing will be communicated to the customer via updates to the website and/or email 14 days before changes occur. It is the customer’s right to choose to continue or discontinue the service at any time. The service will continue on a recurring basis until canceled by the customer. Customer may request a change to the selected service plan 7 days in advance of next service; however, to cancel service, you will need to provide a 14 day notification.

Pre-Payment:

  • Customer must have a Debit Card or Credit Card stored on file and have accepted automatic future charges.

  • Pre-Payment charges will be made in advance of the first cleaning.

  • If subscription cancellation occurs after only one cleaning visit, the customer will be charged the minimum service fee which is the equivalent of the One Time Cleaning Rate for the number of cans cleaned.

  • Customer’s account will maintain a credit for missed services that will be drawn down after the service period has ended or when scheduled by customer until each service credit is depleted.

  • Customer is responsible for paying for the service requested regardless of the number of cans present and available for cleaning.

  • SoCo Can Cleaners will automatically charge the customer until customer cancels service.

  • Service is ongoing until the customer cancels service.

SoCo Can Cleaners will utilize 3rd party industry leaders in payment processing to safely and securely store customer’s credit card information. SoCo Can Cleaners will never have access to customers credit card information. Customer’s card will be run automatically prior to service, and a receipt will be sent via email.

5. REFERRAL PROGRAM

Existing subscription customers in good standing may be eligible to receive one free cleaning per referral of a new first time paying subscription customer.  There is no limit to the Referral Program.  Existing customer will forfeit the free cleaning credits if they cancel their existing subscription after receiving free cleaning credits before utilizing the free cleaning credit.  If existing customer cancels subscription after utilizing the free cleaning credits but before paying for another subscription cleaning, they are subject to a charge for each cleaning that was free (equal to the subscription price). Free cleaning can be redeemed at the end of the current subscription or scheduled between cleanings. The free clean can also be utilized in-between a scheduled clean. SoCo Can Cleaners reserves the right to terminate the Referral Program at any time and are free cleans are non-transferrable.

6. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND/OR CUSTOMER AGREEMENT

SoCo Can Cleaners reserves the right to modify and/or amend the Terms and Conditions and/or the Customer Agreement at any time by posting a revised Terms and Conditions and/or the Customer Agreement at www.SoCoCanCleaners.com, and/or sending information regarding the amendment to the email address you provided to SoCo Can Cleaners.

7. MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE

SoCo Can Cleaners reserves the right to modify the service at any time for the betterment of our customers and the overall success of the service program.

8. DEFAULT PAYMENTS

SoCo Can Cleaners reserves the right to suspend or terminate your service without notice upon rejection of any credit or debit card charges, or if the customer’s card issuer (or its agent or affiliate) seeks return of payments previously made to SoCo Can Cleaners. Such rights are in addition to and not in lieu of any other legal rights or remedies available to SoCo Can Cleaners.

9. CANCELLATION OF SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE

The customer may cancel a subscription service at any time. If subscription cancellation occurs after only one cleaning visit, the customer will be charged the minimum service fee which is the equivalent of the One Time Cleaning Rate for the number of cans cleaned. Cancellation must occur 14 days in advance of the next scheduled service date. Cancellation notice is required via telephone. Pre-payment refunds are not issued for cancellation of service.

10. CUSTOMER INFORMATION

We do not sell, trade, or rent customer’s personal identification information to others. SoCo Can Cleaners utilizes industry leading PCI compliant credit card information storage through their payment processor.

11. SANITIZATION AND DISINFECTION

The customer understands that SoCo Can Cleaners(s) high pressure hot water is a great defense against germs and the environments they thrive in, but that SoCo Can Cleaners cannot guarantee the complete elimination of all contagions within, around and on garbage cans. SoCo Can Cleaners will make all reasonable efforts to sanitize and disinfect to the best of their ability but makes no claims to prevent disease and/or the spread of contagions.
